Dr. Parkes graduated Summa Cum Laude from Union College. He received his Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. His internship, residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology Fellowship were completed at Albany Medical College.
Dr. Parkes in Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Ellis Hospital. He is a member of the New York State and County Medical Societies. He also belongs to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Professional interests include cardiac catheterization and coronary intervention. Dr. Parkes has practiced invasive cardiology in Schenectady since 1985.
