Dr. Vassolas attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook as an undergraduate earning his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He received his Medical Degree from Albany Medical College. He subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical College where he also completed one year of fellowship in cardiovascular diseases. He completed his cardiology training at the Lahey Clinic where he also studied cardiac electrophysiology.
He is currently the Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at Ellis Hospital
