Dr. Andalib Nawab joined Cardiology Associates of Schenectady in August 2008 as a Cardiovascular Hospitalist. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Aga Khan University Hospital in 1993. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and a chief resident year at Blodgett Medical Center (affiliated with University of Michigan.) She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics and is a fellow of the American Board of Geriatrics. In 2014, she was a recipient of the American Heart Association’s Donald Led Duke Heart Hero Award.
She is currently the director of Ellis Medicine’s Women and Heart Disease program.
